Level 3 Award in Education and Training

In response to recommendations made by a government-commissioned independent review panel, teaching qualifications have been simplified and renamed.

 

This qualification is designed for people who:

  • are not in a teaching role, or who have just started a teaching role
  • want a short qualification
  • want a qualification without a minimum teaching practice requirement

 

The course is ideal for people who are or want to start delivering in house courses or nationaly regognised qualifications in the work place. 

The level 3 award is also a good grounding for individuals wishing to progress into a full time teaching role in adult and further education

First aid at work

This course provides the comprehensive set of practical skills needed to become a confident first aider at work, giving you both the ability and knowledge to deal with first aid emergencies.


Who should attend?

This course is designed for people who want to receive our most thorough first aid training and is especially suited for nominated workplace first aiders looking to gain comprehensive training.

  • Accidents and illness
  • Using a first aid kit
  • Using a defibrillator
  • Simple record keeping
  • Treatment of an unconscious casualty
  • Heart attacks
  • Resuscitation
  • Shock
  • Choking
  • Bleeding
  • Burns and scalds
  • Poisoning
  • Fractures
  • Seizures
  • Asthma
  • Severe allergic reaction
  • Eye injuries
  • Low blood sugar
  • Fainting

Emergency First Aid at Work

This course is ideal for smaller workplaces that present few health and safety risks.

Who should attend?


This course is designed for people who want to receive training in emergency first aid and is especially suited for nominated first aiders in smaller, low risk working environments.
